Can I trade in my old Hästens?
That depends on the dealer. Trade-in is not a fixed Hästens scheme. Ask before you choose a new bed, so you know what the old one is worth in the calculation.
If you already own a Hästens and want more, there are three routes: a different topper, the cheapest way to change the feel; a different model, for those who really notice the difference in layers; or a second bed, for a holiday home or guest room. Trade-in is up to the dealer, not the brand. Try a higher model for a night first: in a showroom the difference barely shows.
An upgrade starts with a reason. Has your body changed, are you sleeping worse than before, or do you have a new partner with a different weight and sleeping position? Or do you simply want the finest there is? All four are valid, but they point to different routes.
A complaint usually points to the topper or to two different halves. A wish points to a different model. Mix the two up and you buy an expensive answer to the wrong question.
The cheapest way to change how your bed feels. Firmer, softer or simply new: the topper sets the first contact with your body, and with it much of what you notice at night. Start here if it is about comfort rather than the bed itself.
Higher up the collection you get more layers, more handwork and a different sense of depth. Whether that makes a difference to you is personal. Some people feel it straight away; others still can't point to it after a night.
That is why this is the route where a trial night pays off most. At SleepSpa the 2000T and the drēmər each have their own suite, and we prepare the Vividus on request. A night on the model you are aiming for settles this question better than any conversation.
A holiday home, a guest room, a child leaving home. A second Hästens is often a smaller decision than the first, because you already know what you get.
With a holiday home, watch one thing: moisture. A bed in a house that stands closed and unheated for months has a hard time. Make sure there is ventilation and a minimum temperature, or deliberately choose another solution.
Three options: it moves to another room, you sell it on, or you ask the dealer about a trade-in. Trade-in is not a fixed policy of the brand; it differs by dealer and situation. If you sell it yourself, remember that the factory warranty generally does not pass to the new owner.

Only if you feel the difference. More layers means a different feel, not automatically a better night. The only reliable test is a whole night on the higher model, not ten minutes in a showroom.
With a bed made of two separate halves, yes — and with a big difference in weight or sleeping position between partners, that is often a better upgrade than a more expensive model for both. Ask your dealer what is possible with your bed.
