Does the warranty transfer with a used Hästens?
As a rule no: factory warranty is in the first buyer's name. With a used bed, assume you carry the risk yourself, and factor that into what you are willing to pay.
Buying used: what to look for
Short answer
Second-hand is the only way to get a Hästens substantially cheaper, but you are buying three things you cannot see: how many nights have been slept on it, whether the bed was turned, and how it was stored. The warranty is as a rule not transferable. Work out the remaining lifespan before judging the discount.
The discount is rarely what it looks like
An eight-year-old bed at half the new price sounds like a good trade. But if the lifespan is twenty years, you are buying sixty per cent of the remaining nights for fifty per cent of the price. That is barely a discount.

Look at the top in raking light: an impression on one half that you can see from the side doesn't come back. Smell it — with natural fibres, moisture is irreparable. And ask where the bed stood, and whether it was ever moved or stored.
Finally, lie on it, and not for two minutes. Ask whether you can lie still on it for twenty minutes, on the half you would sleep on. It isn't ideal, but it is infinitely better than a photograph.
When it is sensible after all
With a bed a few years old, with a receipt, with demonstrable care, and with the remaining lifespan honestly worked out: then you are buying something good for less money.
If you are torn between new and used, the honest order is: first find out whether this bed suits you at all, and only then ask where to buy it. Sleeping on a bed that doesn't suit you isn't cheaper because it was second-hand.
